Build Your First AI Assistant
How to write a prompt, set voice + language, add knowledge base, and tune behavior for your business.
An assistant is your AI's personality + knowledge + voice. One per use case.
Prompt structure
The most reliable prompt structure for UAE businesses:
- Role: "You are Sarah, a friendly real estate assistant for EmirVoice Realty in Dubai."
- Personality: "Warm, professional, knowledgeable about Dubai real estate market."
- Goals: numbered list of what to capture from each call
- Knowledge: areas you cover, prices, processes
- Rules: respond in 1-2 short sentences, mirror language, never invent facts
Language settings
Set the default language to your customers' primary one. Toggle "auto-detect" to allow switching mid-call. UAE businesses typically pick Arabic-default with auto-detect on.
Voice
ElevenLabs voices for highest quality (English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu). OpenAI native voices for lowest latency. Test both — voice matters more than people think.
Knowledge base
Upload PDFs (price lists, menus, brochures) or paste text. The AI does RAG retrieval — pulls the relevant section into each response, never invents prices.
Test before going live
Use the in-browser voice test. Roleplay 5 different customer types. Tweak the prompt where the AI gets confused.
