WhatsApp Sequences (Drip Campaigns)

Sequences send automated follow-ups after a trigger event.

Triggers

• Manual: you enroll customers one-by-one from the Customers page
• Post-call: enrolls every customer when their voice/WhatsApp call ends
• First inbound: enrolls a customer on their first message
• Booking completed: enrolls 30-60 min after a booking ends — "How was it? Rebook?"

Step types

• Free-form text: any message body, only works inside the 24h customer-care window
• Approved template: Meta-reviewed template, works any time
• AI voice call: places an outbound WhatsApp call. Requires recipient call permission.

Customer-care window

Meta only allows free-form messages within 24 hours of the customer's last reply. After that you need a template.

Reply detection

When the customer replies, the sequence pauses automatically — the AI assistant takes over the conversation. No double-messaging.

Variables

Use {{first_name}}, {{phone}}, {{email}} plus any custom variable on the customer record.
